Hey, I'm Einar!

I'm a software developer, designer, and tech enthusiast based in Iceland. I enjoy building practical, well-designed systems across the full stack, Java and Spring Boot on the back end, Next.js and TypeScript on the front, and I'm always curious to try new tools and approaches.

Outside of coding, I like staying active with running, painting my Blood Angels army for Warhammer 40k, and jumping online and into a game with friends now and then. In the winter I enjoy skiing. Both coding and my hobbies keep me curious, focused, and detail-oriented, and most importantly, always learning.

One project I'm especially proud of is JITR, a workforce scheduling platform I co-founded, you can check it out at jitr.is. It's given me experience from system design to deployment, and I've learned a lot by figuring things out hands-on. On the side I'm tinkering with Odyno, a travel planner for Iceland.
